Setup OpenConnect VPN on Android
OpenConnectVPN application is an open source free software that work’s as a replacement of Cisco AnyConnect SSL VPN client. It is easy to setup VPN and provide secure point to point connection to provide a secure VPN access.
Here are some easy steps that will guide you on how to setup OpenConnect VPN application on your Android smartphones. Follow these steps one by one and get your android devices secure.
Step # 1: Download and install "OpenConnect" VPN Application from Google Play store (Click here to download)
Step # 2: Open the downloaded Openconnect VPN Application on your smartphone
Step # 3: After opening the Openconnect VPN app Tap on "+" icon to add your profile
Step # 4: Enter your desired VPN server address and tap "OK". Let’s say German server address is entered as an example. You can get the complete list of VPN servers here
Step # 5: Tap on "Profile name" and enter the VPN server name and tap “OK”.
Note: You can setup any name in this but it is recommended to put a proper name in Profile name.
Step # 6: Now tap on back button of your android device and tap on the profile you just created in the above step.
Step # 7: Tap on "OK" to allow permission to setup VPN connection.
Step # 8: Make sure to Tap on "Always Connect" button to get connected to a VPN.
Step # 9: Enter your username and password provided by OneVPN in the given field and tap on “OK”.
Step # 10: You are now connected to OpenconnectAndroid VPN Client.
Note: It may take few second to verify username & password once verified you will be connected to a VPN via OpenConnect.
Step # 11: When you need to disconnect from VPN, just tap on "Disconnect" button there at the bottom center.
To connect to another server, first disconnect from VPN and then follow step 3 to 10 again.
