Change DNS in Windows XP
You can simply change your DNS in Windows XP by following these easy step by step instructions.
Step #1: "Right click" on the start button then select "Control Panel".

Step #2: Select "Network and Internet connections" from control panel of Windows XP.

Step #3: Select "Manage Network Connections".

Step #4: Now depending upon your connection type "wifi" or "wired connection" which you are using; right click on it and select "Properties".

Step #5: Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and select "Properties".

Step #6: Select "Use the following DNS address" radio button and below it enter the DNS servers in the "Preferred" and "Alternate" and Press "OK". Select "Apply" and press "OK" to finalize settings.

Step #7: Select "Close" to complete the process.
